Begin your odyssey in Berat (UNESCO). Explore the inhabited citadel, where Byzantine churches and Ottoman mosques have coexisted for centuries. Walk through the historic quarters of Mangalem and Gorica, admiring the white stone houses that give the city its iconic “thousand windows” look.

Day 2 - From Antiquity to the Ionian: Apollonia, Vlorë & Saranda

Step back into the 6th century BC at Apollonia, once a great Roman center of learning. After a seaside stroll in Vlorë, the cradle of Albanian independence, take a spectacular drive along the Albanian Riviera. Arrive in the vibrant town of Saranda, overlooking the sparkling Ionian Sea.
